U.S. Exchange Alumni who have registered with the U.S. State Department are eligible to submit an application for the Global Leadership Awards.
+ 2. Application Deadline
U.S. Exchange Alumni are required to submit application materials by March 1, 2022 to be considered for the Global Leadership Awards.
+ 3. Awards Categories
Select the category that best describes the positive impact you have had in your country or local community. Click here for a list of example Global Leadersip Awards within each category.
+ 4. Selection Process
The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni to receive a Global Leadership Award using the following criteria:
Creativity: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who have enacted creative solutions to successfully address the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
Community Impact: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who have had a significant and measurable impact in their country or local community.
Perseverance: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who have overcome difficult circumstances or unexpected setbacks in their country or local community.
Grassroots Support: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who have earned the trust, respect, and support of the people and local communities they serve.
Leadership: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who have the leadership skills to successfully accomplish their vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Social Impact: The Global Exchange Network will select U.S. Exchange Alumni who plan to use $2,000 Small Grants to bolster their social impact in their country or local community.

The Global Exchange Network will schedule an online interview to discuss your application.
+ 6. Social Impact
Winners will receive $2,000 Small Grants to bolster the social impact of U.S. Exchange Alumni within their respective countries or local communities.
